President's Message

Welcome to CLEARS Superior Chapter!

I am honored to serve as the Superior Chapter President for 2020, and I look forward to meeting and working with our members to grow our chapter in meaningful ways. Currently, I am the Police Services Manager for Redding Police Department where I started approximately 10 years ago as a Police Records Technician. Police Records work is gratifying as well as challenging, and I am so grateful for the opportunities I have had to work with so many brilliant minds and caring individuals, all of whom add an extra level of appreciation for the work we accomplish together.

The Superior Chapter covers a large geographical area, starting in the Sacramento area and stretching up to the northern border of the state, from the coast to the eastern border. That is a huge area (21 counties) with many criminal justice and law enforcement agencies proactively contributing to the well-being of the communities they serve!

If you’re currently not a member of CLEARS, we invite you to please join us. We are, after all, in this together, working to manage the daily increasing workload while staying current with legislation that directly and indirectly affects the maintenance and release of the records we are responsible to manage.  With rapidly changing technology as well as ongoing, significant legislative changes, it is beneficial to have a network of support and information from which to draw on as we make critical decisions that can have profound affects. This is where our member agencies can help one another by sharing information and support.

Our Superior chapter is focused on training and networking opportunities that will benefit us all, so please don’t hesitate to contact me or any of the other Board Members to let us know how we can best serve the Superior Chapter.  I hope to see you all at the trainings and the annual seminar!

You can email me at or call 530-225-4154.
